Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Inspired by...Vanessa Hudgens

Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Greetings my lovely readers Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

I saw a couple of magazines today and was quite surprised at how little we are encouraged to adopt and create our own styles, not simply copy the celebrity fashion we see. So in response, I've created a post where I take inspiration from one of the most aboriginally inspired celebrities, Vanessa Hudgens. Fair enough, I absolutely loathe high school musical (sorry to those who like it) but I do admire her laid back dress sense.

Look's a bit grumpy doesn't she!
So here we see Miss Hudgens sporting a lovely snug cardigan, perfect for autumn, complete with a stand out t-shirt. Rather than trying to find exactly what she's brought, I've chosen some items that I like that will work and most importantly, that suit who I am.

Songs to yodel...or sing to whilst cleaning your room

Salutations!
I've been overwhelmed by the comments on my blog so thank you!

Today, other than getting my bag caught in a ticket barrier at London Paddington, I had a load of scary unloved corners in my room to attend to. I hadn't ventured into them for...quite some time so i'm sure you can relate to my apprehension and curiosity.  It had also been bugging me as it goes against my clean-freak superego. I was quite tired when I was trying to address this problem so I sought motivation in the form of music. So here are some of my favourite songs to play aloud while cleaning my room Snow-white style , minus the forest animals of course!

 1. Who let the dogs out by Baha Men
2. American Idiot by Greenday
3. Don't stop me now by Queen
4. The Final Countdown by Europe
5. Livin' on a prayer by Bon Jovi
6. Sk8ter boy by Avril Lavigne
7. Sweet Child of mine by Guns n Roses
8. Walking on sunshine by Katrina & the waves
9. I'll be honest.....Single Ladies by Beyoncé
10. Paramore by Still in to you

Below find one of my favourite videos. I am in no way suggesting that you cover your bedroom floors with balloons. That would not be cleaning up...or would it??

Ta very much YouTube x

And if you like smooth rap how about some Slim Shady or Nelly ft P.Diddy and Muphy Lee, Shake your tail feather!

I hope this will help you all on your cleaning expeditions, when your trying to friend your feather dusters!! I'd love to hear something bizarre that you've found in your room, perhaps under your bed, I was lucky enough to find a £5 note!

Make of the day

Greetings my gorgeous readers!
This morning, I noticed one of my old and unappreciated lip balms had gone all funny. I really liked the tin so I transformed it into a mint tin.

It was all dull and icky but I loved the tin xx
So, I scraped out the balm, being careful to not scratch the bottom of the tin.

And hey presto a shiny tin that's as good as new xx
I hope this inspired you! Tins like this can also be great for putting jewellery for presents in, but obviously if they are clean! Also, stop by the newly added "Top Knot-ch" page and tell me what you think

Come rain ☂ Come snow ❉

After an inspiring trip to the British Library Propaganda Exhibition ( I went on the last day!) it started to rain...Booo! Fair enough when it rains a little bit but I seriously think some greater power was mocking me because I forgot my umbrella.

Also, my versatile nude pumps got all wet as I relived moments from my childhood, splashing in puddles. Yes...grow up Boho Bun. I seriously regretted this when my socks were also soaked through and I had to get the tube back home. However my dear ones, I have compiled a supreme list which will keep you weather safe this season.

★ Studs and skirts that make your eyes go funny ★

Yo readers...did you like my "cool" and "hip" greeting?? Okay, I'll stick to Salutations next time! I'd like to share the outfit that I wore yesterday to dinner x I'm not sure if you can see the studded sleeves but I fell in love with the top when I saw it.

A statement skirt, especially a long line one, can be so versatile this time of year. I also like to pair it with a long sleeved black crop top and a beanie hat when it's chilly.

Studded Top from Love Label in pink (also available in khaki)
Printed Skirt from New Look £14.99
Black Snake Skin bag £9.99 Matalan
Gold Earrings (not sure if you can see them) £6.99 from New Look

I hope you liked my surroundings, the restaurant loos, they were surprisingly clean and fancy xx Have you ever taken a photo in a strange place? (keep it clean)

Shoelace 2-in-1 accessory

Salutations! I've been feeling rather crafty lately, especially with my jewellery cravings. One of my favourite bracelets broke this week so I thought I'd cheer myself up and make a new one. When I buy plimsolls, I always take the shoelaces out and I've finally found a way to make use of them.

1. Gather some beads that you like. I managed to find some little coy fish. I would recommend to use beads with large holes or you may not be able to thread them on properly.
2. I also found a cute bar type bead at a charity shop which makes a really nice centre for your bracelet.
3. Thread the beads on to a shoelace, either symmetrically or however else you like.
4. Tie a knot on each side of the beaded pattern, so the beads do not move.
5. Wrap around the wrist or alternatively, wear as an ethnic headband to complete a hairstyle.

I would love to hear if this inspired you and alterations you've made.
